My Pale, Pale, Skin

I love to take the kiddies swimming and would love to go more often. Right now I feel overwhelmed taking both by myself so I wait until Zach can come. We love to go to the pool. Violet loves it and Scotty is a natural too.

A Conversation with Violet

Violet cooked me a meal today in her kitchen. She brought me the plate and spoon.

Me: What did you make me?
Violet: Chicken, Mommy.
Me: What kind of chicken?
Violet: Pork.

PhotoBooth

Today Violet and I played with Photobooth on my laptop. I'm so glad we did! I got Violet to make all sorts of funny faces. After she started to laugh hysterically, I turned on the video. Check it out.

Carnies . . . Small Hands . . .

Summer has been so fun! I have to admit I am not a summer person and when I was young I hated carnivals. Carnivals are so much more fun with kids! We took Violet to the Strawberry Days carnival and to Lehi's Family Fun Day. We had strawberries and cream, of course. She got her face painted.

I put this video together of her on the rides. It was the most ridiculous fun to watch her go around in circles and yell her name each time she came around. It was a horribly boring video, so I put her favorite song in the background. She sings it all the time and knows all the words. This might be the type of video that only parents and grandparents enjoy, so if you don't make it all the way through that's okay. Fast forward to the end when Violet gets her face painted.

Scotty so Serious

This is the face of my little boy. . . Always so serious. Look at his furrowed brow and wrinkled forehead. Always so pensive. I love this little face. But I wanted to prove that there is another face, for all of those who have never seen it. Check it out.

Sorry the pics aren't very good.
