Easter 2009

We had a great time this Easter with our two children! Scotty is getting bigger each day and looked so cute in his outfit. Violet, of course, is always a little doll. We are still trying to teach her to look at the camera, but she is very stubborn.




Violet was so cute picking up her eggs. She got the idea of the hunt and tried to get as many as possible. When the kids went inside to count their loot however, Violet was satisfied to only open one egg. She ate all the candy from it and was done. I guess we'll give her one egg a day and she'll keep the Easter excitement for a while.

Can you tell which baby is Violet and which is Scotty? I can, but I can't believe the resemblance!

My Babies this Month

Scotty is all Binkied Up!
Violet is so funny! She got a hold of my pump and wanted to do what mommy does. She calls the pumped milk "silly milk."


Violet's favorite coat is her kitty coat. She got her bangs trimmed and I thought she looked so cute. The hood of the coat is actually a mouse, but I called it a kitty at first and it stuck.

New Pics

My photog Darla took some great pics of Scotty when he was just 4 days old. So cute!!! Please take notice of the dark fuzz on his back, arms, and ears. Scotty was good for a little while and then decided he was majorly DONE! He even pooped on Darla which she says is a peril of the job!!





BTW- You may be seeing one of these as his birth announcement--I'm not sure yet because I haven't seen all the pics.

More New Pictures

Here are some more pictures. I can't believe we are a family of four!! It feels so great to be a family and to have Scott here.

So we came home from the hospital on Friday and everything is going so well! Nothing was ever wrong with Scotty. He has perfect x-rays, perfect bilirubin, and no infections despite the antibiotics he was receiving in the NICU. The day we came home the doctor said "Well we tried really hard to get this little guy sick, but he's just too strong and healthy!" My experience in the hospital wasn't what I expected, but it was really nice. I got a lot more rest than I planned on and felt very reassured that Scott was being monitored so closely.

The first pictures are the day we came home, then the pics of Violet holding Scotty for the first time. The last pic is of my two boys. I am so in love.
